The comparison
What sellers charge for an AI visibility audit, side by side
The short answer
Eight kinds of sellers price the AI visibility audit in 2026: automated reports at $249, our audit at $490 with 300 real engine answers, free diagnostics that feed a sales call, agency audits at $1,500 to $4,500 for 10 to 30 prompts tested once, a $5,000 flat audit, and enterprise audits up to $40,000.

“Not published” means the seller does not say, not that it does not exist. 12 of the 17 GEO sellers we studied publish no prices at all, which is why this table exists. “Typical agency audit” and “Enterprise audits” are market bands documented across several sellers, not single companies, and the table says so rather than inventing a name.
The bar to hold every seller to
Five marks of a serious audit, whoever sells it.
These are the marks the most transparent sellers in this market publish themselves. BizWhiz puts it best on their own site: most cheap offers are “a screenshot and a sales call”. Score any vendor down this list, including us.

Questions
Fair questions about this comparison. Straight answers.
Why is the free audit low on your list when it costs nothing?
Because it is the only offer in the table that never asks an AI engine anything: it only inspects your website, and it delivers the results on a sales call for a $3,000-and-up program. That can still be a fine deal. It is just not a measurement, and this page compares measurements.
What makes 300 answers better than 30 prompts?
AI answers change between runs, sometimes drastically. One run per question tells you what one user saw once. Three timestamped runs per question, across five engines, tell you who reliably owns the answer and who was lucky that day. Volume is not a vanity number here; it is what makes the reading trustworthy.
Do any of these prices include actually fixing the problems?
No, including ours. Every audit on this page is a diagnosis. Execution is sold separately everywhere: our version is The AI Visibility Program at $1,500 a month, agencies sell retainers from $1,500 to $15,000, and the full retainer map is on the pricing page.
Where do these numbers come from?
From each seller's own pages and the published 2026 pricing guides, retrieved August 25 to 31, 2026. BizWhiz and Bubbling were checked on August 31. Where a seller publishes nothing, the table says so instead of guessing. If you are one of these sellers and a number is out of date, write to us and we will correct it with a visible changelog.

The obvious question
Yes, the table is ours. The numbers are checkable.
We sell the $490 column, and we published every other seller’s price anyway, with retrieval dates, because a buyer who compares carefully is exactly the buyer we want. The full price map, retainers included, is at /geo-pricing, and the method behind our column is public at /methodology.
