What we collect, and what we do with it.

Who is responsible

What we collect, and why
When you run the AI Visibility Checker: the website you type on the first screen. We read its public home page to propose 5 buyer questions. Then, when you press the button of the last screen: your first name, your work email, the 5 questions, your country, and how you reached us (the campaign parameters in the link, or the site that referred you). When the check ends we add its result to that record: in how many answers your brand was named, the other brands named, and whether the report email left. We use them to run the check, show you the result, email you a copy, and understand which companies the tool is useful to. If a limit stops your check (2 checks per company per year, 3 per network per day), we keep the same details with the reason, and no check runs.
When you run the AI Crawler Checker or the AI Readiness Checker: the website you type. The Query Fan-Out Tool: the question you type. The AI Overview Checker: the search expression, the country and, if you give it, your website. The full result shows at once, and nothing about you is asked for it.
When you ask one of these 4 tools to email you its results: your work email, your country and how you reached us. We keep them with the tool, what you typed and the result in a few words. We use them to send you the results and to understand which companies the tools are useful to. Your email is also kept in your own browser for 90 days, with your first name when you gave it to the AI Visibility Checker, so that the next tool comes with the field filled. The link “Not you?” next to the email field of these 4 tools removes both.
For these 5 tools, we keep 1 line per run: the tool, what was typed (a website, a question or a search expression), the date, the country the request came from and the result in a few words. No name, no email and no IP address are in that line. It tells us which companies and which questions the tools are used for.
To keep the tools from being abused, we count the checks made from your IP address for 1 day. The address itself is not stored: the count sits under a scrambled form of it, and it is deleted after 24 hours. The internal page where we read the leads counts wrong password tries the same way, for 1 hour.
When you use the Idea Engine or the ChatGPT App Directory: your work email, and what you type into the tool.
When you buy something: your billing details, handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
When you visit: pages viewed, clicks, approximate location and device, through PostHog and Google Analytics.
Our legal basis
- Performing what you asked for. You request a report, we send it. That email is part of the service.
- Legitimate interest. Understanding who uses our tools, keeping the site working, preventing abuse, and contacting business contacts about services relevant to their role. You can object at any time and we stop.
- Consent. Marketing emails beyond the result you requested, when you ticked the box of a form that carries one (the Idea Engine). The box is never pre-ticked, and every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe. The 5 free tools carry no such box.

Your data is never sold, and it is shared with nobody outside that list. Transfers outside the EU rely on the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.
How long we keep it
Analytics: 14 months. Invoices: 7 years, because Estonian accounting law says so. For the free tools:

The copy of the report in your inbox is yours.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Write to thibault@tgc-services-ou.com and we answer within 30 days, usually the same week. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or to your own national authority.
Cookies
We use analytics cookies from PostHog and Google Analytics to see which pages and channels work. No advertising cookies, no third-party ad pixels today. If we ever run ads, this page changes first.
