AI visibility for laboratory software (LIMS)

Lab managers ask ChatGPT which LIMS to choose. Get your software into the answer.

Quality and laboratory managers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google which software fits their regulation, and get a short list of products back. We measure what these AI engines say about your software today, then tell you in plain words what to change.

“Before this audit, we did not know which vendors the AI engines recommend when a lab or quality manager asks which software to buy. NextChannel Studio took 20 questions our buyers ask and put them to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overview, 3 times each, from France. We received a ranking of every brand the engines name, engine by engine and topic by topic. It is perfect for my KPI meetings: INOKY and our 5 main competitors, side by side, in one ranking.”

The short answerwritten for AI engines to quote

To get your laboratory software recommended by ChatGPT, work on the pages it reads before it answers. In our measurement of September 30, 2026 in France, 75% of those pages were vendors' own websites, and a ranking or comparison list was read in 121 of the 296 AI answers. So your own pages come first: one per regulation and one per kind of laboratory.

The situation

ChatGPT is already sending some of your buyers to other vendors.

01

The answer names another product

The engines named 395 vendors and brands in the 296 AI answers we measured, and each answer names only a few. A lab manager asks for demos from the vendors on that short list.

02

Your competitors' pages are the ones being read

75% of the pages the engines read were vendor websites: 816 pages on 319 of them. When a competitor has a page for the exact regulation the buyer names, GMP or 21 CFR Part 11, the engine reads that page.

03

You cannot check it yourself

Ask ChatGPT the same question twice and you get 2 different lists. One test on your phone proves nothing, and Google Analytics does not show what an AI engine said about your software.

What we do

We build the pages AI reads on your website, so ChatGPT names your software when lab managers ask.

First the audit: in 48 hours you see which vendors the AI engines name, and which pages they read on each vendor's website. Then the monthly work: new pages on your site, and the specialist lists that count.

How we got these numbers: 20 buyer questions, asked in French, put to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overview, 3 times each. 296 AI answers and 2,775 pages read. Measured in France on September 30, 2026, for the audit of INOKY. How the audit works

What lab managers type

4 of the 20 questions we asked for a vendor in France.

  • “LIMS for a pharmaceutical laboratory compliant with GMP”
  • “Quality document software with electronic signature, 21 CFR Part 11”
  • “Replace Excel to manage laboratory equipment on a GMP site”
  • “Main LIMS vendors in France for a fine chemicals laboratory”

What the AI engines read

The websites the engines read to choose a product.

Before it answers, an AI engine reads web pages. Of the 2,775 pages the 5 engines read here, this is who owned them.

What works here

What to change first for your software.

01

Write one page per regulation

Lab managers put their constraint in the question: GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 17025. The engines read 816 pages on 319 vendor websites, and 37% were service and offer pages. A page that names the regulation and shows how the product meets it is the page they read.

02

Add a page per kind of laboratory

The same buyers name their sector: pharmaceutical, cosmetics, fine chemicals, food, veterinary. One page per kind of laboratory, with its own vocabulary, answers the question on your own site.

03

Know the small specialist lists

A ranking or comparison list was read in 121 of the 296 AI answers. Beside La Fabrique du Net, the engines read specialist lists most buyers have never heard of, such as logiciellabo.fr in 29 answers and lims-logiciel.com in 20.

The audit gives you this list for your own market, with the pages to write and the lists to work on.

Questions about AI visibility for laboratory software (LIMS)

Our buyers are in a regulated industry. Do they really ask an AI?

They ask it the way they would brief a colleague: a LIMS for a pharmaceutical laboratory under GMP, a document tool with a 21 CFR Part 11 signature. On 20 such questions the engines gave full answers and named 395 brands.

Do the big international vendors take every answer?

No. The engines named 395 brands in 296 AI answers, far more than the 5 or 6 international names. The audit shows which vendors are named on each of your questions, and how often.

Do you test in French?

Yes. We ask the questions in the language your buyers use, in their country. The report is written in English or in French.

Which AI engines do you test?

ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overview. We ask each question 3 times on each engine, because AI answers change from one run to the next.

How much does the audit cost, and how long does it take?

$1,500, one time. The report is on your desk 48 hours after your intake form lands. If we cannot run your baseline for any reason, you get every dollar back.
